Warrior Dash, Brazilian Butt Lifts, and… Sake Bombs?

This weekend has been very busy, and I still have an entire day left. It feels good. I love it when I feel like I’ve accomplished a lot of things.

Anyways, sometime last week I decided to sign up for the Warrior Dash, a 5k somewhere far far away (in Georgia) that involves jumping over fires and climbing things. Not only have I never participated in a 5k before, the event is about 1.5 months away. Hopefully this will motivate me to work out (alongside the zombie app I bought) because I do not want to look embarrassing. Also, my boyfriend had made the fatal error in making the assumption that he will end up having to leave me behind because I’ll be too slow.

I’m totally going to smoke him in the race. I told him he’ll get to stare at my ass while I beat him. =P

On another side note, I had stayed up really late last weekend in bed and was watching infomercials. One of them ended up being this infomercial for a workout routine/video called the Brazilian Butt Lift. And just so you know, I am not very gullible when it comes to these commercials and usually I call BS on them. However, I couldn’t help but be intrigued about this one program. Also, it is distributed by the same company behind P90x or Insanity, don’t recall which one, but I know people who have told me they have had good success with those. So using some giftcards that I received from work, I purchased the workout video. Yesterday, I did one of the videos yesterday and when I woke up this morning, I was definitely sore.

Based on these workout regimens that I have now, I’m excited to see what sort of results appear in the next few weeks!

Last but not least, one of my friends celebrated her birthday last night and today. It’s been a long time since I’ve gone out and had so much fun (and drank so much), so it definitely was great. Also waking up and not feeling ill? Even better!

And then today I get to spend time with my family before going to a friend’s condo and eating 2lbs of crawfish? I can’t wait!

What an awesome weekend.
